Pio Cesare Fides Barbera d’Alba 2010

Incredible vanilla and spice from the oak. Floral nose of rose and liquorice. Tannins are evident, but well integrated with good acidity. Amazing complexity with luscious summer fruit pudding character and exemplary length. Score – 95. (decanter.com, undated)
