60% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, 35% Schioppettino, 5% Tazzelenghe. A youthful wine with deep plum, upfront oak, floral notes, and woodsmoke. The palate is full and ripe and full of energy with blackcurrants and sour cherry compote with some dried hay and oak spice. The texture shows plushness, balancing the generous but fine, dusty tannins. Score – 97. (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2022)
