Plantagenet Three Lions Shiraz 2017

Offering sweet fruit flavours with gorgeous spicy complexity, the wine shows blackberry, dried cherry, clove, hint of leather and almond characters on the nose. It’s succulent and fleshy on the palate, displaying fine texture and polished tannins, making it delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2025. Score – 93. (Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz, Sept. 2020)
