Made from organically grown corvina (60%), rondinella (25%), corvinone (10%), and oseleta (5%) grapes, this was matured in large and small oak barrels for 36 months and in bottles for a further six months. The result is a big-boned, robust wine with concentrated flavours dominated by dark fruit. The tannins are still quite firm, but manageable.
