Provolo Valpolicella 2023

… a blend of corvina (60%), rondinella (20%), and molinara and corvinone (10% each), matured in stainless steel and concrete. Look for quite pungent, concentrated flavours of dark fruit and a lively, edgy seam of acidity. It has a generous texture and easy-going tannins. Overall, it’s terrific red wine that’s very versatile with food. Drink now to 2028. Score – 92. (Rod Phillips, Nov. 2024)
