Prunotto Barolo Bussia 2010

Medium red. Tight aromas of red cherry, red licorice and spices. Juicy, spicy and tightly wound; more savory than sweet. Fresher and younger than the normale, showing more precision and floral lift, but less pliant today, and dominated by its tannic spine. This sappy, nicely gripping Barolo will need at least five years in the cellar, at this point my rating may prove to be conservative. Score – 91+. (Stephen Tanzer, vinous.com, Nov. 2013)
