Brunello di Montalcino, which must be crafted from 100% Sangiovese, is often seen as Italy’s finest expression of the grape. Quercecchio ages this wine in a combination of French and Slavonian oak, imparting a supple, lithe mouthfeel alongside the grippy tannins and high-toned fruit and floral notes. Pair with steak Florentine, pasta bolognese, or your favourite aged cheeses. Decant for 2-3 hours before pouring.
