This has evolved very nicely since last tasted a year ago, still very gently reductive in the Querciabella house style, built to last. I love the sweet cherry perfume off the top (this vintage contains 10% fruit from high elevation Lamole, know for its freshness and perfume), the floral side, also the very fine tannins and succulent acids. There’s also plenty of depth and tension and excellent length, and while complexity is still unfolding, it’s already clearly above the mean. Sleek, polished, lovely. Best 2025-2035. Last tasted February 2024. Score – 93. (John Szabo, MS, winealign.com)
