Reflection of Swartland area rather than individual varieties. 2020 led by syrah plus 4 others associated with southern Rhône. Unshowy spicy & dark-fruited like 2019, densely textured, has rumble of friendly tannins with delicious savoury persistence. Score – 93. (Platter’s South African Wine Guide, 2023)
