Raymond District Collection Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 35% new French oak, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford District Collection was bottled unfined and unfiltered and has a deep garnet-purple color. It gives those classic Rutherford dusty earth, stewed tea and sautéed herbs character over cassis, warm plums and blackberry preserves with loads of savory charcuterie and tapenade-inspired nuances. Medium-bodied, the palate has beautiful restraint with lots of earthy sparks and wonderfully rugged tannins, finishing long and mineral laced. Drink date: 2019-2038. Score – 94.
