Named after the fortified castle that the Ricasoli family owned for centuries, this wine perfectly captures the essence of Tuscany. It’s Sangiovese with Cabernet and Merlot, and though it possesses broad, burly shoulders, it retains an excellent freshness along with a silky texture. Look for ripe red fruit, spicy notes and tobacco and try the wine with grilled beef.
