Robert Oatley Signature Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Vivid regional and varietal characters of cherry, blackberry, seaweed, beet, eucalyptus and black olive brine open the nose of this savory Cabernet. The palate is powerful while still being linear, focused and fresh. Savory tannins frame juicy, brambly red fruit and spice, and a gently charred oak note can be felt, too. Drinking well now, especially at slightly below room temperature, but also could cellar until around 2030, at least. Score – 91. (Christina Pickard, Wine Enthusiast, Dec. 1, 2022)
