Product Details
This dark ruby colored wine opens with a mild blackberry, black plum and mild saddle leather bouquet with hints of loam and dried herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, smooth, round, and juicy. The flavor profile is black currant and stony mineral blend with notes of black tea and blackberry. We also detected a cola in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its grippy tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. We also detected a touch of heat as well. The Panel would pair this wine with a ribeye steak or a Colorado lamb chop. Enjoy. Score – 92. (Tash McGill, kenswineguide.com, June 24, 2021)
