Though 2019 brought on heavy drought for much of South Africa, the reduced yields led to concentrated wines of great density. This Bordelais blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc shows dark fruit flavour mingling with herbaceous phenolics. Pour it tonight with garlic-and-herb-crusted lamb chops or cellar for another seven years.
