Blackberry pie (crust and all), licorice, cassis, star anise, bramble, garden mint, cigar box and tobacco leaf. In the mouth the wine is ultra-concentrated, firm and structured. This pays homage to both the variety and the region. It offers truth from every angle, leaving no lingering doubt about where this could possibly have come from, and what grape it is.
