S. Sebastião Tinta Roriz/Syrah 2021

Blending Syrah with the Portuguese Tinta Roriz makes for a wine with lush dark fruit character and a spicy aftertaste. It’s cold-soaked in steel vats to retain freshness. Look for notes of blueberry, cassis, peperoncino and truffles and serve tonight with a pasta bolognese or black-bean chili.[The Berliner Wein Trophy did not include a tasting note.] Score – Gold.
