San Giorgio Ugolforte Riserva Brunello di Montalcino 2020

Darkly floral and intense, the 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Ugolforte Riserva slowly evolves, offering an array of dusty dried roses, shavings of cedar and citrus-laced black cherries. It is silken in feel with a tart citrus tinge to its ripe wild berry fruits. Minerally intense, the 2020 leaves edgy tannins offset by a hint of residual acidity and a touch of licorice and sage.
