Scalunera Etna Rosso 2021

Intriguing aromatics to this, with red currants, dried herbs, spices and hawthorn fruit on the nose. Some lemon peel, cedar and peach pit, too. It’s medium-bodied but packs in plenty of flavor, at once toasty, minerally and fruity, with chewy and firm tannins. From organically grown grapes. Made in amphorae. Best after 2025.
