Silkwood Estate The Walcott Single Vineyard Shiraz 2018

It’s a savoury, clovey, nutty style of shiraz with (black) cherry-plum fruit flavours running through its heart. Both twig and reductive characters act as complexing agents and the finish is decidedly herbal, though it’s not hard or unripe; it flows. Complexity is clearly this wine’s strong suit.
