Spy Valley Pinot Noir 2009

Medium red. Ripe cherry and raspberry aromas complemented by mocha and pungent spices. Juicy, spicy and nicely delineated, with a lovely high-toned sweetness and a distinctly sappy quality. I’d give this vibrant pinot a year or so to absorb its acidity. Score – 89. (Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar, Sept./Oct. 2010)
