Tarapacá began planting its Isla de Maipo vineyards around 1991, and the cabernet sauvignon established there was an old massal selection that the winery had possessed since its founding 150 years ago. This cabernet from those Isla de Maipo vines is all blue fruit and herbs, along with firm, sharp, juicy tannins and subtle fruit flavors that unfurl across the palate accompanied by notes of spices. An elegant and balanced wine. Score – 95. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2024)
