The nose leans savory, with assertive aromas of slate, graphite and soil, but astringent undertones of hibiscus and cranberry provide nuance. On the palate, emergent cherries add a delicate sweetness, while tannins and acid work together to tie everything together and create wine that is thoughtful but not demanding, like a good romance movie.
