Tawse Sketches Cabernet/Merlot 2020

Delightful mix of red and black fruit – cassis, red plum and blackberry. That incredible core of fruit follows through on the palate. Savoury tones of tobacco and dried purple flowers happily balance the ample fruit character. With fine tannins complementing the ripe nature of this wine, this a great example of a juicy red wine with a bit of tension. Score – 90. (Jenna Briscoe, winealign.com, undated)
