‘Saperavi’ is the Georgian word for ‘paint’ or ‘dye,’ which is fitting considering it’s also the name of one of the few teinturier (red-fleshed) grapes that you’ll commonly find. This lush, off-dry red has flavours of pomegranate and strawberry with hints of forest floor balanced by a brisk acidity and velvety tannins.
