The Mencía grape really displays its charms here. Deep ruby colour leads to aromas of black cherry, strawberry, spice and sweet herbs. Dry and fruity with a lively, sprightly acidity that makes this wine a good choice for lighter meat dishes, or even as a sipper on the back patio at the end of a long day of yard work.
