Thibault Liger-Belair La Toppe au Vert Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru 2020

40% whole bunch. Rich vibrant purple, but just as you think this might be going to be too powerful a lovely refreshing currant of pure red fruit comes up through the darker fruit. Picked in good time and helped by the whole bunches. Good length. No rustic tannins, really quite fine. Light but not meagre says Thibault. Tasted Nov 2021. [Drink into late 2030s.] Score – 90-93.
