‘Graticcio’ are the bamboo racks that winemakers use to dry grapes for appassimento wines. Popular producer Tommasi laid the Corvina, Rondinella and Merlot grapes for this wine on the graticcio for one month before vinifying and ageing the wine for six months in mature Slavonian oak casks. This medium-bodied red shows plush dark fruit flavours melding with aromas of spices and tar.
