Torre Mora Scalunera Etna Rosso 2021

Intriguing aromatics to this, with red currants, dried herbs, spices and hawthorn fruit on the nose. Some lemon peel, cedar and peach pit, too. It’s medium-bodied but packs in plenty of flavor, at once toasty, minerally and fruity, with chewy and firm tannins. From organically grown grapes. Made in amphorae. Best after 2025. Score – 93.
