Torre Zambra Colle Maggio Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2024

The 2024 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colle Maggio opens with a woodsy bouquet of dried herbs, pine shavings, flowery undergrowth and dried black cherries. Nuances of clove and spiced blood orange complicate ripe red berry fruits. The 2024 leaves edgy tannins, a bump of vibrant acidity and a licorice tinge. Very nice. Drinking window: 2027-2034.
