Touriga Nacional Letra A Douro Macanita 2022

The 2022 Touriga Nacional Letra A is darker and riper than the Touriga Nacional Cima Corgo, has higher alcohol (15%) and more structure and tannins, as it corresponds with vineyards that achieve more ripeness, at lower altitude and closer to the river. The vines are 33 years of age, planted at 100 meters in altitude on classical schist soils. The grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, and the wine matured in used, well-seasoned French oak barrels for 18 months.
