This wine is 100% Castelão, which is a grape variety known for producing big, structured wines. The fruit is grown on vines aged 50+ years in the Palmela region of the Setúbal Peninsula of Portugal, immediately across the Tejo Estuary from Lisbon. Bursting with jammy strawberry, currants and plum along with mocha and baking spices, this wine will pair nicely with grilled sirloin steaks.
