Vecchia Cantina Riserva Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2017

This 2017 saw two years in Slavonian oak casks and a further six months in bottle, allowing the flavours to become fully integrated and giving the wine’s considerable tannins time to soften, though they still provide excellent structure. Showing generous dark and red fruit, savoury herbs, smoke, spice, and a hint of tobacco, this wine is drinking beautifully.[Luca Maroni tasting note not available.] Score – 95.
