Velenosi Bio Rosso Piceno Superiore 2021

This wine was first produced in 2016. The 2021 is 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese sourced from clay soils with some limestone deposits. It’s quite elegant and nuanced, with generous red and dark fruit, vanilla, and black pepper atop evocative floral notes culminating in a long finish. Enjoy through 2027.
