Complex and seductive, the bouquet shows dark plum, star anise, dried mushroom, game, and toasted nut aromas. The concentrated palate delivers excellent weight and plush mouthfeel, superbly framed by layers of polished tannins. It’s wonderfully harmonious with sensual texture, finishing impressively long and satisfying. At its best: now to 2033. Score – 95.
