A clear expression of mountain cabernet sauvignon, here the herbal aromas have a party amid black fruits and spices. The palate is tense in tannins and, despite the warm year, the flavors are fresh and vibrant, in large part thanks to that acidity that seems to have a sharp edge. This cabernet comes from two vineyards in Pirque, in Alto Maipo, planted between 1998 and 2011. Like the carmenere of the same line, it spent 14 months in barrels, 20% of them new oak. Score – 92.
