(Translated from the Spanish) José Ignacio Maturana has 2,000 plants in the backyard of his home in San Fernando, in the Colchagua Valley. The grapes were harvested early to preserve the acidity. The wine is a rosé of an intense colour, well-structured with acid, and ripe, somewhat sweet fruit, although it owes to the ripeness of the flavours rather than the residual sugar, of which it has barely 2.8 grams in total. This is a full-bodied rosé, for indoors. Score – 92. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, undated)
