Tamanohikari IWAI Celebration Junmai Ginjo Sake

Iwai is a rare brewer’s rice unique to Kyoto. Challenging to grow, it fell out of favour following World War II when a focus on increased food production saw growers turn to higher-yield rice. Revived in 1990 through the efforts of the Fushimi Sake Brewers Association, it produces elegant, balanced, fragrant sake with a delicate sweetness and a generous flavour profile. Try it with sushi.
