Alliance Loire Les Lys Vouvray Sec 2021

French author Honoré de Balzac, who mused that wine nourished the body and coffee nourished the mind, was an admirer of Vouvray. This dry version is from Chenin Blanc grown on a clay-limestone plateau overlooking the Loire River and was aged on the fine lees for six months before bottling. Expect a satiny wine with succulent peach, pear and acacia notes, and pair with seafood.
