Amphora Chardonnay VQA 2023

This Chardonnay is fermented and aged in Sichuan sandstone clay amphorae, which means that the wine develops a smooth, caressing texture without absorbing any trace of the wood spice or vanilla that emerge with the use of oak. This allows the distinctive character of Volta’s terroir to shine through in the notes of ripe pear, apple, and fine mineral.
