Bachelder Bai Xu Niagara Cru Single Vineyard 1981 Planting Vieilles Vignes Chardonnay 2021

A bijou in the illustrious Bachelder catalogue, this Chardonnay is made from some of Ontario’s oldest-known vines. Offering a dense, concentrated flavour profile, it was fermented with native yeasts and aged for 20 months in mature French oak barrels. Expect Ontario peaches, white flowers, lemon zest and a touch of honey all wrapped in a soft, waxy texture. Best from now until 2028.
