Cà Maiol Lugana 2023

For a long time, it was believed that Lugana’s Turbiana grape was a clone of Trebbiano. A 2021 study disproved this and found it was a close relative of Verdicchio. Makes sense, considering they share similar flavours of white peach and almond skin, with a salty minerality on the finish. Serve this soft white slightly chilled with freshly made pasta in an almond-pesto sauce.
