Unmistakably gewürztraminer, this delivers an intense nose of floral spiciness that leads to a palate of musky fruit. The acid is well tailored to the fruit, and it cleans up the intensity very effectively. Overall, it’s a terrific wine, not so much for drinking on its own as for pairing with spicy cuisines – perhaps Thai and Indian mid-heat curries. Drink now to 2027. (Tasted February 2024.)
