Deux Roches Pouilly-Fuisse 1ercru 2023

Harvested by hand from a trio of plots with famously calcareous soils in the municipalities of Vergisson and Chaintré, this wine was aged for 11 months in barrel followed by an additional eight months in vats. Aromatic and finessed, it suggests ripe yellow fruit, freshly baked brioche and crushed rocks, with a saline finish. It will impress through at least 2033.
