Domaine Billaud-Simon Les Vaillons Chablis 1er Cru 2022

Pale lemon with a fresh lime touch. Wood has been used on the Séchets component. This is lean and tight up front then much more body behind, plenty of flesh here without losing the essential stony qualities, and finishing dry, despite the weight of fruit. Tasted July 2023.
