Domaine Caroline Frey Corton Charlemagne Gc 2019

The 2019 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru from Château de Corton is a lucid silvery hue. The bouquet is well defined with honeysuckle, orange pith and light hazelnut aromas, just a little lanolin and pralines in the background. The palate is well balanced with nicely integrated oak. It has the weight one expects from a Corton-Charlemagne with just a little bitterness that lends tension on the finish. This is a sophisticated and refined expression of this Grand Cru.
