Domaine de Bellene Les Forges Meursault 2022

This leesy whopper shows a big, creamy, almost oatmeal/bready nose, rice pudding and maple, quite yeasty. Not everyone’s cuppa flavour-wise. It is full bodied, very rich and broad but also holds an amazing seam of acidity and minerality. As if it is going to balloon on the palate but instead runs down an iron rail.
