Domaine de Bellene Beaune Les Perrières 1er Cru 2023

So interesting that this has the same gravelly, hay, tea and spice aromatics as the Beaune 1er Cru pinot noir tasted same day. Terroir transmitting through different colours. Expect ripe peach, vanilla custard as well. It is full bodied, open knit and very intense – quite powerful yet showing some elegance. The length is outstanding. Should age a decade or more.
