Domaine de Bellene Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc 2022

A bright and fresh 2022, perhaps a vintage in which ‘lesser’ terroirs can shine, those in more marginal areas that in such years experience favourable conditions. I like the elegant white-fleshed fruit and minimal wood impact, the succulent acids and the lingering finish. Such a suave, upper Côte chardonnay, with plenty of minerality on display .
