Domaine de Montille Les Folatières Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2018

Brian Sieve has made some very impressive white wines at de Montille in 2018, typified by the quality of this focused, concentrated Premier Cru white. Grapefruit, fennel and patisserie flavours marry appealingly on the palate with 25% new wood, leesy weight and a fresh, tangy finish. Early picking was crucial to the style of the wine.
