Domaine de Montille Les Folatières Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2022

A pale lemon colour, less reductive so the sunny fruit of a quality Folatières can show instead. But there is nothing soft about this as the tension shows at the back. A little mirabelle note to the fruit and a touch of liquorice, with excellent energy. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted Oct 2023. Score – 93-95. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, Jan. 2024)
